Yoga is an ancient spiritual tradition
originating in India.Hatha Yoga is one system which has been widely adopted in the West and combines physical
postures with breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.Stress is the most widespread cause of ill health
in the Western world, the popularity of Yoga lies in it’s ability to bring about a meeting of mind, body and breath
which help to combat stress.
The postures and breathing combination used in
Jennifer’s Yoga Classes stretches and tones muscles which improves flexibility, the joints are opened which increases
suppleness and range of movement.Blockages in our energy pathways are released, transforming tension and
stress into relaxation and energy.Yoga promotes balance and harmony in life – basically, it makes
us feelgood!
Jennifer’s Hatha Yoga classes are open
to people of all ages and abilities.Groups are small and friendly and each individual is offered modifications
to the practice as required, allowing them to take what they need from the practise without risk of injury or strain.

Jennifer….
Jennifer first practised Yoga 25 years ago when her
school offered it in place of PE.A love of the outdoors drove her to pursue mainstream sports during her
20’s but following the birth of her first child she returned to Yoga in earnest.Her Yoga practise
carried her through a stressful period and inspired her to teach.Having trained for the Diploma with the
British Wheel of Yoga, she has continued to study with a variety of instructors in different Yoga traditions to broaden her
own experience.
